What Are Necessary Documents for Traveling to Brazil?

“Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended travel dates and your visa remains valid for at least 90 days before its expiration.”

NOTE: Visas to Brazil for US citizens is not yet required, the date has been pushed to April of 2025.

What happens when we arrive in Manaus, Brazil?

“After clearing customs, our team will warmly welcome you in the airport lobby. You’ll then travel comfortably to our hotel aboard our private bus. The following morning, we’ll convene in the lobby after breakfast for check-out. Our team will then guide you to the airport, where we’ll embark on our private charter flight, for a 1 hour and 20-minute journey to a town called Barcelos upper Rio Negro Amazon, where you’ll board the mothership.”

What About Fishing Equipment?

“We offer spinning and bait casting rods with reels, equipped with 80, 65, and 50 lb. test braided line. Additionally, we provide all necessary catfishing equipment including rods, reels, and lines with 100 lb. test braided line, as well as a boga-grip, measuring ruler, and landing net. While our lure kit package is not included, we can arrange one for you at $200.00 per angler, featuring lures recommended by our professional guides. Alternatively, you’re welcome to bring your own gear if preferred.”

What About Upgrading to Single Rooming On-Board and/or in Manaus?

“For solo occupancy in a hotel room in Manaus, we can arrange it at our net rate, payable upon check-in at the counter. Please note that service taxes are not included. For single occupancy onboard the mothership, a 60% surcharge of USD 3597.00 is applied to the current package net rate, subject to availability.”

What About Extra Night’s + Transportation in Manaus?

“We’re pleased to assist with additional hotel nights in Manaus at our net rate, payable upon check-in at the counter. Please note that service taxes are not included. Additionally, we can arrange transportation for getting around the city during your stay in Manaus, at an extra fee.”

What About Laundry Onboard?

“Our package includes daily laundry services, so there’s no need to over-pack.”

What About Gratuities for the Guides & Staff?

“We suggest a tipping amount of USD 600.00 per guest, with USD 300 designated for your guide and USD 300 for the onboard staff. At the conclusion of your trip, we recommend tipping your guide directly. For the onboard staff, please give your tips to the onboard manager, who will ensure it is evenly distributed among all staff members.”

What Should We Pack?

“We recommend packing light, focusing on essentials such as polarized sunglasses, a UV-protected sun mask and gloves, long-sleeve UV-protected fishing shirts, UV-protected fishing pants, sunscreen lotion (SPF 80+), insect repellent, allergy medication, and raincoats.”

Do we visit any villages during our trip and what can we bring for them?

During your stay with us, we will take you on a visit to a local village to experience their way of life. You are welcome to bring donations for the villagers, such as…

•⁠ ⁠Hygiene supplies: soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, dental floss, etc.

•⁠ ⁠School materials: books, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, rulers, paper paste, drawing books, etc.

•⁠ ⁠Used clothing and footwear for men, women, children, and babies.

What Other Services is Provided On-Board?

“We offer Wi-Fi internet services at a rate of USD 50.00 per person for the entire week. Massage available starting at USD 15.00 per 10 minutes.”
